Innovative music producers Blame Clayco and Philadelphia native TK Izrael, known collectively as MARCH MADN322, have joined forces with Atlanta’s own artist Dear Callie to release their highly anticipated collaborative project, “Siren.” This captivating single marks the second release from March Madn322’s debut album, Haus of Madn322.
Drawing inspiration from the vibrant dance music scenes of the late 80s and 90s, “Siren” pays homage to Atlanta’s Bass culture and the unique dance community known as ‘Yeekers.’ The project embraces an EDM twist, channeling influences from Daft Punk and Kraftwerk.
Conceptualized and written by Callie “Dear Callie” Lee and Darrin “Magic Monroe” Jones, “Siren” draws from the rich tapestry of Greek mythology, where sirens are depicted as alluring, bird-like beings with enchanting voices. Today, they are often imagined as captivating, voluptuous mermaids. Dear Callie embodies this mythical theme with her mesmerizing vocals and sensual delivery, inviting listeners into an aquatic realm of rhythm and dance.
Blame Clayco expresses, “We wanted a sound that reflects the history of Atlanta culture while also incorporating our futuristic sound.”
